The Golden Retriever was developed in Scotland and England in the late 19th century for the purpose of retrieving wildfowl on land and water. Its physical characteristics and its willing, adaptable, trainable nature have also fitted it for usefulness in many other endeavors. The Golden Retriever is a natural dog needing no surgical alteration to ear or tail, and no exotic grooming, to keep it looking characteristic of the breed (as opposed to some terriers, poodles, etc.). The Golden Retriever has a normal canine structure without distortions of leg, jaw or tail, and is characteristically a healthy, sturdy, adaptable animal. Basic grooming for a Golden Retriever should take no more than 20 to 30 minutes a week. In addition, the Golden Retriever makes a wonderful family dog. Because of their friendly and everybody loves me attitude, they are not any good as watch dogs. At home Cricket also enjoys them as her personal play toy. She keeps them on their toes and dishes out plenty of kitty kisses when they treat her like she runs the place which is precisely how she thinks life should be. They are ready for their new homes. Puppies are $500 and have dewclaws removed and will have their 1st shot and worming.
Heather The ultimate golden retriever personality. This girl picked us to be her parents. She is happiest hanging out on the couch, or sleeping in bed.
Timber A very loving and gentle natured guy, he actually likes to get in with the litter and play with the puppies once they are up and walking around. He is a substantial dog, with a wonderful deep chest, and weighs 84 lbs. He has a heart of gold and never ill mannered. He has his OFA Hip certification, a grade of fair.
Chloe Her breeding lines come from some of the best hunting dogs (Top Brass). It probably explains why she is so athletic. Her jumping height is about 5 feet which means she is able to give me kisses without me bending over. While she is about 65 lbs., she produces large, nice sized puppies. She has her OFA Hip certification, a grade of fair.
